Your privacy is our top priority. SwiftConversion is designed from the ground up to protect your files and personal data.

1. File Processing

Frontend-Only Tools (Local Processing)

Tools marked as "Local" or "Processed locally in your browser" never upload your files to any server. All processing happens entirely within your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device.

Server Tools

Some advanced conversions may require a dedicated server. If/when we offer server tools, those tools will clearly indicate that files are uploaded for processing and will state the retention policy on the tool page before you upload anything.

2. Data We Collect

We collect minimal, privacy-respecting analytics:

  • Page views (which tools are visited)
  • Tool usage counts (how many conversions are completed)
  • File size ranges (e.g., "1-5 MB", not exact sizes)
  • Processing duration (for performance monitoring)
  • Success/failure counts per tool (for quality monitoring)

We never log:

  • File names
  • File contents
  • IP addresses (when using privacy-friendly analytics)
  • Personal information

3. Cookies

We use only essential cookies for site functionality. We do not use tracking cookies. Our analytics solution (Plausible) does not use cookies.

4. Advertising

We display non-intrusive ads to support free access to all tools. Ad networks may use cookies for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads through your browser settings or ad network preferences.

5. Third Parties

We do not sell, share, or transfer your files or personal data to any third party. The only data shared is anonymous usage analytics and standard ad network interactions.

6. Security

  • All connections use HTTPS with HSTS
  • Rate limiting and abuse prevention
  • File handling safeguards for in-browser processing
